No photo really needed here -- this is your first traffic light, where you turn right. You can go right-on-red here, although cross traffic is often heavy and doing so might be difficult. Rally participants will undoubtedly get bunched up here, so use the stretch of road afterward to build generous spacing between your vehicles before you get into the more complex parts of the route.

You'll cross over I-495 and down into a 45 MPH section through a low area, and then up a gentle rise where the speed limit drops to 35. Keep track of your tripmeter, as it's a while until the next turn at Gay Rd.
